TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Company Identification

This website is operated by ARQ2T. ATELIER, UNIPESSOAL LDA., tax number
(NIPC) 509969895, with registered office at Rua Dom João da Câmara, nº 3, 1º esq., 2795-105 Linda-a-Velha, Portugal, hereinafter referred to as Happy Day Eventos.

2. Scope

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of event decoration and
design services, including but not limited to:

  • Event decoration (weddings, private and corporate events);

  • Rental of decorative materials;

  • Floral design and arrangements;

  • Additional services agreed by quotation.

3. Quotation Requests and Contracting

A contract is considered valid only after:

  • Written acceptance of the quotation;

  • Payment of the applicable deposit;

  • Confirmation of the event date by Happy Day Eventos.

4. Client Information

The Client undertakes to provide accurate and complete information regarding
the event, including type, venue, date, number of guests and decorative preferences. Any changes must be requested in writing at least 10 days prior to the event, subject to acceptance and possible price adjustments.

5. Prices and Payments

Prices are those indicated in the accepted quotation. A 30% or 50% deposit of the total amount is required to secure the event date. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 10 business days before the
event. Failure to complete payment may result in non-performance of services, with no
right to refund. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable to another date or client.

6. Cancellation and Termination

The contract may be cancelled in writing up to 90 days before the event date. In case of cancellation by the Client, amounts already paid will not be refunded. Situations of force majeure may justify rescheduling, subject to mutual agreement.

7. Weather Conditions

Adverse weather conditions may affect the execution of services. Happy Day Events may adjust layouts, materials or decorative solutions for safety and feasibility reasons. Happy Day Events shall not be liable for damages caused by unpredictable weather conditions, provided reasonable measures have been taken.

8. Logistics and Venue Access 

The Client must ensure suitable access to the venue and compliance with agreed schedules. Happy Day Eventos shall not be liable for delays caused by third parties or the event itself. Delays in material collection may result in additional charges.

9. Flowers and Floral Arrangements

All flowers are subject to market availability. Substitutions may be made when necessary, maintaining the event’s style and concept. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, flowers must be collected by the Client at the
end of the event.

10. Losses and Damages

The Client is responsible for any loss or damage to materials provided. Replacement costs shall be charged to the Client.

11. Ownership of Materials 

All decorative materials remain the property of Happy Day Eventos, except
flowers and floral arrangements.

12. Image Rights

Happy Day Events may use photos and videos of the event for promotional purposes. The Client may object by prior written notice.

14. Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law.

PRIVACY POLICY

1. Data Controller

Happy Day Eventos is responsible for the processing of personal data collected
through this website.

2. Personal Data Collected

We can collect:

  • Name

  • Email

  • Phone number

  • Event details

  • Billing details

3. Purpose of Processing

Data is processed for:

  • Responding to contact and quotation requests;

  • Service provision;

  • Compliance with legal obligations;

  • Communication with clients.

4. Legal Basis

Processing is based on consent, performance of a contract and compliance with
legal obligations. 

5. Data Retention

Personal data is retained only for the period necessary or required by law.

6. Data Sharing

Data is not shared with third parties, except when required for service provision
or legal compliance.

7. Data Subject Rights

The data subject has the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. Requests should be sent to geral@happyday-eventos.com.

8. Security

Appropriate technical and organizational measures are implemented to protect
personal data.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated at any time.
